History of a Wild Desert Cowboy
rhY began his life of hard work breaking wild horses and milking goats on ranches and farms in the mojave desert, saving to buy his first viola. His music career began in many acclaimed youth orchestras. Later he studied Jimi Hendrix and the Doors, learned guitar, and started playing in bars long before it was legal for him to be there (His high school principle mistakenly bought him a beer WHILE he was still in school!). rhY then self-produced his first album playing every part himself in a studio he had cobbled together from scraps and sheer hard work, all before the age of 20, and while supporting himself at dead-end jobs. |
He's been the drummer for The Funky Uncles, Guitarist for The Communizt V, Cellist for The Hooliganz, Violist for Cuerdas, Lead singer of The Clydzdale Jockeyz, was on the Vans Warped Tour 2008 as Fiddler for The Bleeding Irish, was lead singer for The Green Jacket, lead singer and producer for The Rogue Rebellion, and also toured nationally for more than 10 years with The LeperKhanz. He had a country band in Encinitas called The Lonely Boots. His band Trouble in Paradise played many gigs in Hawaii.
rhY has 11 published albums recorded in Hawaii, California, Oregon, and Arizona.
