History of a Wild Desert Cowboy
rhY started his music career in many acclaimed youth orchestras playing viola. He then got into Jimi Hendrix and the Doors, learned guitar, and started playing in bars long before it was legal for him to be there (His high school principle mistakenly bought him a beer WHILE he was still in school!). rhY then self-produced his first album playing every part himself in a studio he had cobbled together from scraps and sheer hard work, all before the age of 20, and while supporting himself at dead-end jobs.
He's been the drummer for The Funky Uncles, Guitarist for The Communizt V, Cellist for The Hooliganz, Violist for Cuerdas, Lead singer of The Clydzdale Jockeyz, was on the Vans Warped Tour 2008 as Fiddler for The Bleeding Irish, was lead singer for The Green Jacket, lead singer and producer for The Rogue Rebellion, and has recorded many, many albums, and also toured nationally for more than 10 years with LeperKhanz. He's currently playing solo OFTEN, and playing in his country band The Lonely Boots, as well as recording at studios in Hawaii, California, and Oregon. rhY has shared the stage with: Pennywise Katy Perry Flogging Molly Nickel Creek As I Lay Dying The Young Dubliners Shoppy Kodi Lee Pinkeye Against Me! The Aggrolites and many more.... |
